Bookkeeper

● Count and record monies each week with counter teams; verify and record bank deposits; enter collections to the church accounting system.

● Ensure that church bills are paid on a timely manner

● Record invoices to Icon accounting system; verifying accuracy and expense category.

● Review checks with the Treasurer before signature;

● Review credit card statements and verify charges with staff for expense reporting.

● Prepare reports monthly for the Finance Committee to review; reconcile bank statements; prepare bank transfers as needed; weekly meetings with parish Treasurer.

● Maintain income and disbursements for all Special Accounts

● Maintain checking and investment accounts.

● Oversee Semi-monthly payroll using online software (ADP)

● Record appropriate bank drafts as they occur.

● On an annual basis, send pledge envelopes to parishioners.

● Maintain accurate and verified donor list

● Send parishioner contribution statements quarterly.

● Assist in the preparation of an annual parish budget
