Bookkeeper

The bookkeeper provides bookkeeping and accounting services to the Firm’s clients and works with the tax and accounting team. This role assists other team members as needed to provide first-class service to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process after-the-fact bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
• Complete payroll, make payroll tax deposits, prepare and file payroll tax returns
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and make appropriate payments for clients
• Pay bills for clients
• Enter and maintain Accounts Receivable for clients
• Maintain client files
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• General knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping concepts
• Proficient with QuickBooks and Windows based software (Microsoft Office)
• Organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Strong interpersonal skills – positive attitude and friendly disposition
• Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Bookkeeping Experience: Payroll, Quarterly Payroll Taxes, Bank Reconciliation
• Experience with Quickbooks or equivalent software

OFFICE HOURS

• M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM (closed for lunch from 12 PM – 1 PM)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
