The bookkeeper provides bookkeeping and accounting services to the Firm’s clients and works with the tax and accounting team. This role assists other team members as needed to provide first-class service to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process after-the-fact bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Complete payroll, make payroll tax deposits, prepare and file payroll tax returns
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and make appropriate payments for clients
- Pay bills for clients
- Enter and maintain Accounts Receivable for clients
- Maintain client files
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- General knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping concepts
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Windows based software (Microsoft Office)
- Organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Strong interpersonal skills – positive attitude and friendly disposition
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Bookkeeping Experience: Payroll, Quarterly Payroll Taxes, Bank Reconciliation
- Experience with Quickbooks or equivalent software
OFFICE HOURS
- M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM (closed for lunch from 12 PM – 1 PM)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
