Bookkeeper

```Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll processing. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, is proficient in accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks, and has experience with double-entry bookkeeping.

Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees
- Prepare journal entries and perform month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor payments and expense reimbursements

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with payroll processing and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
