SalaryWe are seeking a skilled Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. This is a key role that requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in various accounting software programs.
Duties:
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process payroll and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- File sales taxes in multiple states
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks 2024)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
