About us
BUA is an exciting place to work. We are a small tech consulting practice and we need someone who is an expert with Quickbooks Online ( Not desktop. They are very different and we need someone who knows the online system. ) You will be working with our accounting firm called Bench. They will need you to categorize transactions, run reports, etc. We have a small but great team of folks building an incredible services business.
We need to onboard an accounting person with 4+ years of experience to take over our books and help us plan for the future. As we grow this role will grow.

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger account variance analysis
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Post all journal entries for month-end close
- Prepare documentation for external accountants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or strong internship experience
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
Job Type: Part Time
$20 an hour
Schedule:
- Three hours a day between 8-1. This can be figured out once you are hired.
