Body Shop Supervisor

Primary duties will consist of but not be limited to:

• Writing of Estimates, Repair Orders, and Customer, Insurance Communication as necessary.
• Ability to perform and supervise the entire process of a Body Shop repair.
• Extensive communication with customers, drivers, insurance company claim reps, adjusters, and internal peers.
• Coordinate and supervise workflow through the Body Shop with body techs and painters.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• May lead and direct the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Coordinates and cooperates with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of needed parts and services.
• Must be capable of training and informing Body Shop Technicians of the desired GATR quality standards and requirements.
• Performs a variety of tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AdjustRite estimating experience helpful
• Experience in estimating office / Body Shop setting
• Experience in working with insurance companies
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined a must
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• CDL certification preferred
• Driving Record Insurable through Company Carrier
• Ability to Read and Interpret Documents
• Ability to Document/Communicate effectively
