Body Shop Painter (Sr)

GATR Truck Center is seeking to hire a full-time Body Shop Painter in our SAUK RAPIDS MN location to perform Heavy/Medium/Light Equipment body work. PRIMARY DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Disassembles and reassembles fabricated truck and trailer parts
• Identifies components that need new parts or need to be replaced and places orders as necessary
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Heavy Truck Industry
• Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, and technical manuals to perform the functions of the job (written and verbal)
• Basic understanding of painting techniques. Ability to operate a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products
• Works under immediate supervision

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Driving Record Insurable by Company Carrier
• CDL certification preferred
• 1-3 Years Experience Preferred
