TITLE:Body Shop Receptionist\Administrative Assistant
$16.00-18.00 Per Hour
POSITION INFORMATION:
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant S/he is also responsible for receiving most of the incoming phone calls. S/he is sometimes the customer's last contact with the dealership and therefore just represent the dealership in a friendly, professional manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Preferred one year experience of operating a cash register. Effective oral communication skills and excellent phone manners. Effective writing, math, and computer skills appropriate to responsibilities of the position. Basic understanding of the collision repair process and administrative issues. Good interpersonal skills. Will be trained on the dealership computer systems, credit card machine, and other office machines. Professional personal appearance. Ability to work well with customers and employees. Positive attitude.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Body Shop Cashier\Recept\Scheduler will work at a desk which is in close proximity to the Body Shop garage. Will use a video Display Computer Terminal, Calculator, Copy machine, and Telephone. S/he will be exposed to noise, vibration, paint dust, Exhaust & paint fumes and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily contact with all visitors including customers, prospective customers, insurance adjusters, vendors, and others entering the office area
- Promptly and courteously answers the telephone
- Set up Towing for Customers
- Issue P.O.'s for Body Shop Towing and Assign to Repair Order
- Collects data using the Customer Information Form
- Collect Insurance assignments for the Insurance Companies and Process them in Scheduler
- and estimating System.
- Book appointments for damages appraisals, drop off and pickup
- May assist with proactive vehicle status class and customer follow-up calls
- Handle customer inquiries promptly
- Assists with marketing programs as appropriate
- Assists office manager or supervisor with filing, data entry and other tasks as requested
- Assures the comfort of visitors
- May handle cashier or other vehicle delivery responsibilities such as the dissemination of warranty and CSI information
- Schedule all Estimate appointments in Scheduler
- Schedule all Body Shop Drop off Repairs in Scheduler
