Body Shop Estimator

Fairview Collision Center strives to create a fun and challenging workplace that aims to deliver the best experience possible for our customers. We are searching for a skilled Body Shop Estimator to add to our team who shares the same values. Your primary role will be to review incoming vehicles for repairs. Additionally, you will be the in between for insurance companies and customers for the duration of the repair process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify all necessary repairs and parts needed
• Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates
• Communicate with insurance companies and customers to explain the repair process and provide updates on progress
• Maintain accurate records of all repair orders, invoices, and customer interactions

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and automotive diagnostics
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information to customers and insurance representatives
• Service writing experience, including upselling additional services or repairs
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate estimates and timely completion of repairs

Starting at $60K yearly with the opportunity for bonues & incentives!

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
