Body Shop Estimator

Tri-Star Indiana has an immediate opening for an experienced Body Shop Estimator at our NEW Indiana location. We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Appraises vehicle damage to determine repair cost for customer’s and insurance companies
• Examine damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or exterior damage
• Supervise, Schedule, & Monitor repair orders to ensure vehicle repairs are processed and moving accordingly to company and manufacturer standards
• Provide estimates that are accurate and support upfront pricing guarantee
• Communicate effectively with technicians to gain clear understanding of repairs required and/or performed
• Follow-up with customers during repair of vehicles so they are aware of vehicle status
• Other duties as assigned by shop manager

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• PA Estimator or Appraisers License, preferred
• Prior estimating experience, required
• Thorough knowledge of automobile repair estimating, including relevant software programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay:

• Salary + Commission (based on experience)
