To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong understanding of automotive anatomy and mechanics, as well as excellent customer service skills. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and estimate the cost of repairs needed after a vehicle has been in an accident
- Work closely with customers, insurance adjusters, and repair technicians to ensure that all necessary repairs are identified and accurately priced
- Communicate with customers to explain the repair process and answer any questions they may have
- Review and negotiate repair estimates with insurance adjusters
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all estimates and repairs
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Collision Estimator or related role
- Strong understanding of automotive anatomy and mechanics
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency with computer software such as CCC One and Mitchell
