Position:Body Shop Estimator

Location: Mike Erdman Collision Center, 110 S. Plumosa St. Merritt Island, FL 32952

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and accurate damage assessments on vehicles to provide detailed estimates for repair costs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and insurance adjusters to ensure a smooth estimating and claims process.
• Collaborate with our team to develop repair plans and recommend necessary repairs and parts replacements to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to estimates, repairs, and parts ordering.
• Coordinate with the production team to prioritize and schedule repairs for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools to generate accurate repair estimates.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
