Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinic-Based, Multi-Disciplinary 9am-5pm Mon-Fri

Merlin Day Academy is Eyas Landing's newest innovative program designed to provide education and therapeutic intervention in a supportive classroom environment.

Our ideal candidate...

Our ideal Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) should have experience working with children 6-15 years of age, experience using VB-MAPP, ABLLS, ABAS, and/or AFLS, have collected data using Catalyst, and have worked in a multi-disciplinary setting. They should also be eager to learn from our team of outstanding and experienced therapists.

Our ON-SITEBoard Certified Behavior Analysts' (BCBA) Day to Day:

    • Daily case management tasks
    • Caregiver Training (virtual or onsite)
    • ON-SITE supervision of RBT intervention.
    • Complete daily treatment notes, daily data input and analysis, evaluations, plan of care documents and other documentation as needed within required time frame.
    • Participate in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including weekly emails, phone calls and in person discussions.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Focus on the Following Interventions:

  • Behavior Modification and Management
  • Family and Team Collaboration and Education

BCBA Education Requirements:

  • Certified BCBA
  • Masters degree required
  • Experience working with children or clients with autism is a plus

BCBA Work Environment and Physical Demands:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The working environment may at times be busy with small groups of children and individual sessions with children while other clients/therapists are present. Physical requirements include:

  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.
  • Ability to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.
  • Ability to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.
  • Ability to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.
  • Ability to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.
