Position Overview: As a School-Based BCBA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and behavioral development of our students. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and implement effective behavior intervention plans, conduct functional behavior assessments, and provide training to staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support the implementation of behavior strategies in the classroom.
- Provide ongoing training and support to school staff to enhance their ability to manage challenging behaviors.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies between home and school.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior analysis.
