The Biomed Equipment Tech I is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment and devices. This position will work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment and devices
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory requirements
• Document all work performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
• Assist with the installation and testing of new equipment
• Provide technical support to clinical staff as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of medical equipment and devices, including their operation, maintenance, and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
