Biology/ Living Environment Teacher 7-12

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State Biology Certificate 7-12 or Living Environment Certificate DESCRIPTION The Monticello Central School District is seeking a full-time high school science teacher for a vacancy. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Preparing students for the Living Environment Regents ExamWorking with students from diverse backgroundsCurriculum planning using project-based learningIncorporating authentic assessments into one's teachingDesigning lessons that challenge and support all studentsUsing strong classroom management skills that respond to a student's individual experience, background, and needsFlexibility in strategies to improve student attendanceThe Monticello Central School District is in Sullivan County, NY, and is centrally located between New York City, Albany, and the Pocono Mountain region.
