Billing/Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

Responsibilities/Experience needed includes:

• Explaining benefits, copays, and charges
• Contacting insurance companies to rectify unprocessed claims in EMR
• Inputting insurance and client payments in our EMR
• Ensuring timely follow-up in obtaining missing/outdated billing and insurance documents
• Creating, documenting progress, and completing tasks using digital project management software
• Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets using Excel and/or Google Sheets

Compensation: Starting at $20/hour

Job Classification: Part-time( 15-25/week), Remote with possibility of advancing to Full-time for the right individual
