Billing Specialist

This is a hybrid position only requiring 2 days per week in office.

Description:

Currently, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Legal Biller in our Orange County office. In this role, you will be responsible for processing a substantial volume of monthly bills with precision and adherence to billing guidelines, client instructions, and departmental policies. Key responsibilities include processing complex bills, understanding special fee arrangements, maintaining accurate client and billing professional instructions, reviewing client and matter setups, and editing pre-bills in accordance with guidelines.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of legal billing experience, demonstrating a proactive and self-starting approach to delivering excellent client service. Possessing strong organizational skills, the individual should quickly grasp and apply procedures, prioritize workflow effectively, and adapt to varying work styles while adhering to firm policies. Effective communication is essential, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to troubleshoot and provide practical solutions. Familiarity with billing systems like Aderant or Elite, experience with e-billing, proficiency in Word and Excel, and solid math skills are required. The candidate must also exhibit a keen attention to detail, spelling, and grammar, while demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
