Billing & Auditing Specialist

We are seeking a Billing & Auditing Specialist to join the team in Boyertown, Pennsylvania! The Billing & Auditing Specialist is responsible for reviewing freight bills for clients to ensure that bills are accurate. This position serves as a liaison between clients and carriers to resolve pricing discrepancies

Essential Job Duties

• Audit and process freight bills
• Provide rate quotes to clients
• Provide shipment status and dispositions
• Work with carriers to resolve pricing discrepancies and request credits/refunds
• Work with dispatch to prepare shipments and invoicing
• Answer incoming calls
• Alert management when tariffs need to be reviewed
• Run reports to accompany invoices
• Sort, meter, and bring mail to the post office
• File overcharge claims
• Complete chargebacks for inaccurate bills of lading/routing

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a billing role
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Top-notch organizational and time management skills
• Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner

Preferred Quifications

• Trucking/logistics industry experience
