Bilingual Receptionist - Optical Department

The Optical Receptionist will work with the Optical Dispensary, performing the following tasks.

• Greeting Patients

• Answering the telephone

• Providing copies of refractive prescriptions to Patients

• Verifying insurance and working in Electronic Medical Records

• Directing patients to opticians for glasses needs

• Maintaining a clean and safe Optical Dispensary

• Cleaning glasses that are on display

• Assisting opticians with a variety of tasks

• Assisting in annual optical inventory

• Any other duties as may be assigned by opticians

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 35 pounds), stoop, bend and perform a variety of tasks requiring good manual dexterity.

• Requires dependability and promptness

• Reports to the Optical Manager or other LDO in manager's absence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
