PAY RANGE: $16 to $18 - Will consider higher compensation for the ideal candidate
SCOPE OF ROLE
New Health MD is in search of professional, responsible, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Bilingual-Spanish- Patient Care Coordinatorto join our growing family. We are seeking a dedicated and capable individualthat will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our medical centers. In this role you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to Patient Care management, organization and communication. This position is the first face and voice interaction with our clients/patients, both in person and over the phone. Managing appointment requests and fielding questions.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish- Must Have
A successful candidate will be able to juggle multiple duties while remaining calm and providing excellent customer service.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answering and screening incoming phone calls in a professional manner
· Greeting and checking in patients
· Checking out patients and processing payments
· Scheduling and confirming patient appointments,
· Overseeing the flow of patients to ensure the daily schedule runs efficiently and on time,
· Ensuring all patient information is updated and complete in medical records,
· Keeping front reception area organized, clean, and well stocked.
· Being able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs,
· Perform other duties & errands as requested by management,
· Work closely with management to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
· High school or GED equivalent
· Minimum of 1-year experience as a Medical Receptionist/front desk/Patient Care Coordinator
· EClinicalWorks experience-highly preferred
· Bilingual in English and Spanish- Must Have
· Excellent Customer Service skills
· Computer literacy
· Proactive and enthusiastic about taking initiative,
· Demonstrates a consistent collaborative and positive attitude.
· High attention to detail and accuracy, as well as verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines without supervision.
· High level of professionalism and confidentiality
· Should have the ability to learn the in-office electronic medical practice management system for scheduling, checking patients in and out, accepting payments, etc.
· Excellent customer service skills
· Desire and ability to help maintain a pleasant, team-oriented atmosphere.
· Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming at all times.
· Fast and accurate typing skills
· Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Gmail

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer. Travel may be required.
