Office Hours:
-Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm
-Wednesday varies: 6AM-12Pm or 8-1PM
-Saturday: 8am-1pm
Background Check/Driving Requirements:
1. Must have a clean driving record (DMW check will be ran)
2. Passing pre-hire documentation (TB test, Drug Test, Background Check, etc.);
3. California Driver’s license
4. California Auto insurance coverage.
Required Education & Training:
1. Willingness to work with diverse communities;
2. Verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail in documentation;
3. Computer literate
Basic Functions:
1.Assist in support for emergency food programming and service delivery.
2. Provide direct services for emergency food programming
3. Driving a mini-van to pick up and/or deliver food supplies
4. Food shopping at LA Food Bank in Los Angeles
5. Unloading and loading boxes of up to 50lbs
6. Sorting and organizing food supplies for distribution
7. Organization of files and inventory of food program supplies
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
9. Follow policies procedures as outlined by Program Manager
10. Provide support to activities and events, including evening and weekends AYC events
11. Data entry
12. Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
13. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor, or as identified in program manuals or funding source contracts.
