Custom Comfort Mattress locally manufactures and sells handcrafted, high-quality mattresses made with natural materials and traditional, lasting craftsmanship.

Custom Comfort Mattress was founded in 1986 and continues to run as a privately held family-owned business. The company’s manufacturing facility is in Orange County, CA. We operate eight retail showrooms: six in Orange County and two in Los Angeles County.
$500 Sign On Bonus paid after 60 days of continued employment.
The ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Serve clients and designers in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate and timely follow-ups as necessary.
- Ability to listen, engage and connect with people.
- Establish the Custom Comfort brand and presence in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
- Build and maintain an extensive knowledge base of similar local businesses to include designers.
- Commit to achieving and maintaining high professional standards in the areas of showroom sales performance, customer service, visual presentation, inventory management, facility maintenance, & the general atmosphere of a quality showroom.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize. Provide superior customer service and quality showroom experience.
- Consistently operate with a drive for meeting & exceeding customer’s expectations.
- Effectively suggest the best products based on the customer’s interests.
- Ability to resolve and manage customer concerns.
- Represent the brand well by demonstrating and modeling exceptional customer service standards.
- Effectively educate the customer on the brand’s unique features & benefits.
- Understand the importance of conversation and consistently closing the sale.
- Assist the management team in ensuring the store is properly merchandised.

- Confirms all accessories, adjustable bases are successfully committed to finalized orders and providing a proper expectation on ETA’s.
- Provides a delivery reminder call the day before delivery confirming delivery time frame.
- Sends a handwritten Thank You Card to every mattress sale customer week of delivery.
- Performs follow up call 2 weeks after mattress is delivered to follow up on delivery, mattress comfort, addressing any needs and staying ahead of the client.

- Protects company assets and general liability through proper procedures, highest levels of customer service, and using sound judgment.
- Able to complete required paperwork and reports timely and accurately.
- Understands and supports the showroom’s business performance.
- Responsible for clean and safe showroom/backroom standards
- Monitors and protects inventory processes to reduce physical and administrative losses.
- Responsible for the execution of store appearance guidelines, promotional events
- Provides professional phone etiquette to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
- Is comfortable and able to communicate and sell to the customers by phone in a friendly, positive manner.
QUALIFACTIONS:
- Must be (18) years of age or older due to safety and security issues and responsibilities associated with company assets.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Retail Sales experience required.
- Prior customer service experience required.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Saturdays are our busiest days.
- Experience with interior design industry or high-end products is an advantage.
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with others.
