Job Description
The Business Intelligence team sits within the Finance Department and closely partners with the IT Data Management team to create business views across the enterprise. The BI team is responsible for creating reporting/analytics across multiple departments for David Yurman. The primary focus will be to rationalize each legacy BusinessObjects reporting universe and rewrite or create new business intelligence visualizations, reports, and alerts. This role will also be our primary contact for BI vendors, and managed service providers.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on delivering reporting KPIs and visualization to support data-driven decisions in Tableau Cloud.
- Work with internal project managers to set milestones and update the design and status of changes.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to design cost-effective solutions that meet requirements.
- Ownership of end-user business intelligence testing and deployment cycles.
- Interact with Information Technology teams for testing and validating changes or production support.
- Participate in constructing a strategic roadmap for business intelligence across the enterprise.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of total experience with 3+ years of experience using Tableau with certifications.
- Familiarity with Python or statistical programming using very large data sets.
- Prior full life cycle implementations of significant projects with a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including in-person communication and virtual meetings.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a business-related field
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of cloud data solutions such as Snowflake or Redshift.
- Knowledge of business KPIs using data from Google Analytics or Marketing applications.
- Prior experience developing or maintaining Tableau Mobile.
- Practice with Data Build Tool (DBT) and data model documentation augmenting the modern Business Intelligence stack in ELT configurations.
- Industry experience with systems and applications typically used by retail, wholesale, or eCommerce businesses that design, market, and distribute fashion or luxury products or experiences.
Location: New York, NY (Tribeca)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote)
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
