ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Qlik applications.
- Design and develop complex QlikSense applications, including data models, ETL processes, and interactive dashboards.
- Optimize data load processes, scripting, and data transformations to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Implement effective data visualization techniques, set analysis, and expressions to provide actionable insights to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and dashboard responsiveness problems.
- Adhere to best practices and coding standards.
- Contribute to the documentation of Qlik applications, data models, and development processes.
- Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance Qlik development efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant technical field. Additional training and/or certification in relevant technologies encouraged.
- 3-6 years overall Qlik experience with minimum of 2-3 years QlikSense experience developing dashboards, reports, data extractors, etc.
- Experience working with Qlik extensions and web connectors; SAP connector experience and QlikView exposure a plus.
- Experience with SAP BW or other SAP BI tools a plus.
- Experience in a Utilities industry environment is a plus.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with a team or individually.
- Capability to adapt to changing environment.
- Ability to learn new systems / tools as required.
