Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Benefits Specialist role in Greensboro, NC! This is a great contract opportunity that will be responsible for fielding employee calls and emails regarding their benefits. You will be working very closely with their HR Director. This a high volume, fast paced role. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of experience in HR and with heavy benefits exposure. This role requires someone to have great follow up and patience!
Responsibilities:
  • Field employee calls and emails regarding benefits programs offered and existing enrollments.
  • Manage and administer benefits programs and tasks related to medical, dental, vision, disability, life, voluntary products, section 125, life insurance, COBRA, 401K, and other company benefits offered.
  • Communicates payroll deductions for elected insurance benefits at appropriate benefit start dates to payroll department.
  • Works closely with FMLA/Inactive Leave administrator to assist with reporting and tracking of FMLA/Inactive leave in compliance with Federal, State and Company requirements.
  • Monitors employees on leaves of absence for insurance premiums owed and ensures communication and collection processes are in place.
  • Administer 401(k) plan employee requests, payroll information uploads into administrator's website and other processes.
  • Assists Director of HR with various monthly invoices from vendors on insurance billings. Performs audits of billings with payroll deductions and enrollments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of benefits experience working within an HR Department is required.
  • Excellent consistent work history.
  • Strong data entry skills accuracy very important.
  • Strong follow up skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
