THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a high impact role with responsibilities including defining the OneScholastic benefits communication strategy, In this role you will provide thought leadership to the company by being accountable for the development and design of benefit program communications to the employee population. You will work in a highly visible and collaborative environment on Benefits & Wellness, 401k and other voluntary benefits. This position reports to the Director, Benefits & Wellness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the Director, Benefits & Wellness to set the strategic direction, planning, alignment, design and oversight of all benefit and wellness plans and programs. Manage the communication strategy with vendors of all benefits and wellness programs, including all Health & Wellness, 401k and Open Enrollment.
  • Manages, schedules and conducts Open Enrollment and New Hire Enrollment process being responsible for enrollment materials, guide books, videos, employee communications and all other related materials.
  • Responsible for benefits and wellness communication content, posting and distribution, via internet stories, email, benefits magazine, video library etc...
  • Oversight of various benefits platforms including myBenefits, Benefits Service Center, benefit mailboxes, HR Portal and individual vendors.
  • Assist with employee questions regarding all benefit programs and provide guidance to available resources.

Qualifications
HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent collaborator with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Expert organizational and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking and creativity. Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects at once.
  • Expert Knowledge of current and pending federal and state regulations regarding employee benefit programs (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, Sec. 125, FMLA, etc....).
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as experience with benefit administration platforms and HRIS systems (Workday preferred). Knowledge of media production and communication.

Experience and Education: Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in the benefits field with demonstrated experience managing multiple benefits plans and programs. Ability to work efficiently within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Professional certification preferred CEBS or CBP certification preferred.
