Human Resources Benefits Specialist

Join a great not-for-profit team as a Benefits Specialist with a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 depending on experience, offering incredible growth potential.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing and enhancing the Employee Benefits function for a respected client in the human services industry. Your primary responsibilities will include the administration of health, dental, prescription, life insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary insurance.

Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration for all Employee Benefits
- Coordinate and fulfill all proper enrollment activities throughout the year.
- Complete and oversee all 403B plan participants.
- Process Worker’s Compensation claims
- Maintain and monitor all NYS Unemployment files and documents
- Reconcile billing related to benefits, as needed
- Support other HR team members, as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Human Resources and Benefits Administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
- Experience in various HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce
- Experience with Microsoft, particularly Excel and Word.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
