What You Would Do
- Help employees with enrollment in benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement programs
- Reviewing payroll deductions
- Conducting presentations and meetings to explain benefits to employees
- Liaising with insurance and retirement account providers on behalf of employees and the company
- Answering questions or concerns from employees about their benefits
- Reporting Worker Comp injuries and maintain the OSHA Log
- Develop organizational guidelines and procedures
- Assisting in the hiring process
- Assist in the onboarding of new employees
- Work closely with employees, providing them with WOW service while building a good relationship
- Process and maintain personnel files
- Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Stay up to date with latest HR trends and best practices
What You Should Have
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5 or more years of experience working in the Human Resources field
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A positive, professional attitude
- Great work ethic and proven record of dependability
- Ability to create reports and manipulate data as needed
- Good organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications required, plus ability to navigate other software programs
