Penn Manor School District is currently recruiting for a Benefits Coordinator in the Administration Office.
DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Facilitate and process all employee benefit enrollment applications, status and coverage changes for all benefit eligible personnel, including termination and COBRA administration.
  • Coordinate the annual Open Enrollment Process.
  • Utilize district and vendor software applications to maintain employee benefit records, and produce all required reports.
  • Remain knowledgeable about state and local laws as they pertain to employee benefits and human resources administration, including, but not limited to; COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, Section 125, and State retirement processing (PSERS), PA workers compensation claims and regulations.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility;
  • Should be able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues;
  • Must be well organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple simultaneous deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite;
  • Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work overtime during the normal business week and weekends, if needed.
  • Prior experience in using a HRIS system-Munis/Tyler Technologies preferred; experience with Frontline Technologies products is a plus
