A Day in the Life of a Senior Benefits Coordinator:
- Review and analyze cost, utilization, and demographic data
- Update benefits spreadsheets and summaries as needed to ensure benefit plan system and documentation integrity
- Research and resolve benefit questions and problems of benefit plan participants
- Participate in benefit plan compliance reviews
- Collaborate with other staff to administer both insured and self-insured employee benefits programs – knowledge of group health, Stop Laws, FSA, dental, vision, childcare, education, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(K), pension, physical wellbeing, wellness and other benefits
- 3+ years of experience with benefit programs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, insurance, mathematics, HR, BA or related field
- CEBS Certification
- Experience use of Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, the ability to handle large data sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and able to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
- Strong professionalism – ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee information
