Job Description
Our client is a non-profit organization. They are looking for a temp to perm Benefits Administrator to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Administer non-union employee benefit plans
- Liaise with benefit plan vendors for processing claims and billings
- Complete new hire benefit orientations
- Handle new eligibility benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Work with the Benefits Manager to process disability claims
- Manage Family and Medical Leave and Paid Family Medical Leave
- Process worker's compensation claims and handle COBRA administration
- Audit and process monthly vendor bills
- Prepare and maintain employee personnel and benefit files
- Produce reports from the HRIS system as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR
- 3+ years of HR experience preferred
- Strong benefits administration skills
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.
- Knowledge of UKG HRIS and Ready Time
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
