Benefit Coordinator
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (3-4 days/week onsite in office). When reporting to the office, the location will be on MMM Holdings, Kennedy Building located on 411 Calle Segarra Marginal Kennedy, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Benefit Coordinator is responsible for assisting in entering new plan designs or amendments to existing plan designs.
How you will make an impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in development of the parameters of each plan to ensure proper claim adjudication.
- Enters data to prepare new policy or change to existing policy.
- Perform benefits testing to ensure proper adjudication and the configuration is working properly at the claims level.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and any experience in a claims related field; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Written and verbal communication skills, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages, and PC proficiency strongly preferred.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
