Social Media Coordinator
Task and Responsibilities:
LOCAL FILMS & CC CHATS
- Works with the people related on the promotion of local films and production of CC Chat segments.
- Conducts interviews with film members, production equipment and postproduction people.
- Helps promote local films that don’t get the press that Hollywood films do.
- Assists to screenings to know what to promote.
CARIBBEAN FILMS
- Works with the DR Team on their film slate, productions, and releases to ensure PR & Territories keep pulse and are on same page with the DR team.
- Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content for Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
- Tracks cinema industry news and monitors the competitors’ content.
- Attends, photographs, and covers events as needed.
- Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC).
- Proposes new ideas and creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
- Assists Social Media management with large projects, events, and community relations.
- Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing Social Media projects.
- Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while monitoring, analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
- Maintains a healthy response time on each network.
- After hours and weekends availability to attend events or perform duties related to the position.
Skills and competencies
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge and skills in creating and managing content on social networks.
- Basic knowledge in Graphic Desing Programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate and transfer needs to content and on par with our audience and goals.
