Caribbean Medical Research Center (CMRC) is a dedicated Clinical Research site based in San Juan that organizes, implements and executes clinical trials in Puerto Rico. We work with leading pharmaceutical companies to contribute to the well-being of Puerto Ricans through medical advances. CMRC is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist with research functions, patient management, and administrative tasks.
Working with the Principal Investigator and the Head of Operations, the CRC will support our team in effectively conducting clinical trials by ensuring adherence to all aspects of the study protocol and assisting in subject recruitment.
Responsibilities include:
· Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of daily clinical trial activities.
· Manage and coordinate all patient research visits and procedures consistent with protocol requirements.
· Assist the Head of Operations in developing materials and tools necessary to appropriately train individuals involved in the conduct of the study around issues related to (but not limited to) protocol requirements, schedule of visits, execution of research plan. Maintains documentation of training.
· Prepare source documents to ensure accurate data capture of subject visits.
· Discuss study protocols with patients and verify the informed consent documentation.
· Ensure the filing and maintenance of all regulatory documents.
· Assist in study recruitment efforts to ensure enrollment targets are met.
· Prepare monitoring visits prior to monitor’s arrival.
· Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications include:
· BA or BS from accredited national university, demonstrating academic achievement; strong preference for RN degree.
· 2-3 years prior work experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
· Experience collecting, entering, and processing data.
· Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and the regulations necessary for the protection of human subjects and the conduct of Clinical Research required.
· Knowledge of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations for the transportation of Dangerous Goods.
· Needs to demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.

Salary: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
