Behavioral Health Intervention Services Provider

Overview:

• Assist clients in learning appropriate ways to manage behavior and reinforcement behavior through behavior modification.
• Enhance client’s quality of life by teaching the emotional, social and interactive regulation skills they need to be successful in the home, school and community environments
• Working with children after school and on the weekends.
• Hourly at $27-30 per hour based upon experience.

Responsibilities:

• This position covers Clinton County
• Consistently meet with BHIS clients weekly
• Provide services targeted at helping client reach goals listed on client’s treatment plan
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Communicate professionally with employees, clients, and the general public
• Ensure documentation requirements are met for BHIS services in a timely manner
• Maintain professional ethics and behaviors
• Maintain HIPAA and all other necessary confidentiality standards set by Life Connections
• Utilize a minimum of 80% of units each week or 10 hours whichever comes first
• Ability to travel and take cases within 45 miles of the employee’s assigned office
• Schedule quarterly clinical supervision with clinical supervisor and attend monthly meetings
• All other duties are as assigned by direct supervisor
• This position works with school-aged children. Most often, sessions are after school and on the weekends.

Requirements:

• Pass a background check and have experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Knowledge of BHIS service delivery practices and regulations (will attain within 45 days if no prior experience).
• Ability to multi-task and work in an organized manner (time management, schedule
• management, KASA efficiency, hour productivity).
• Computer competency (clear understanding of all available Kasa functions; to the extent of being able to train a new employee).
• Leadership Functionality: Team oriented, shows ability to model and demonstrate skills delivered to clients, shows patience and understanding for clients and employees alike, demonstrates ability to follow appropriate boundary guidelines, able to conduct themselves in such a manner that their activities, both personal and official, will not discredit Life Connections.
• Strong sense of ethics and professionalism.
• Consistently sees clients on a clinical level and implements curriculum and appropriate Interventions.
• The service provider will have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a Human Service related field.
