Title:Behavioral Health Clinician
Base Salary Range: $73,500 - $81,034 plus benefits
FTE: Full-Time, Exempt

Responsibilities: The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing a wide variety of individual, family, and group therapy; including but not limited to clinical assessment, treatment planning, collateral, crisis intervention, and advocacy services to families, children, and other clients in accordance with their specific therapeutic needs. The Clinician has demonstrated expertise in addressing trauma and promoting the recovery of children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance (SED), adults with serious mental illness (SMI), and individuals with Co-Occurring Disorders (COD).
- Develops and coordinates a clinical treatment program for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral.
- Counsel’s individuals, groups, families, or communities.
- Facilitates group therapy sessions and involves client and/or family in treatment planning.
- Provides a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment plan coordinating with other medical staff.
- Continually assess the needs and symptoms of clients and families formulating psychosocial diagnosis, gathering history, and determining the most appropriate method(s) of providing treatment/evidence-based practice.
- Meet Agency requirements regarding billing for reimbursable services.
- Provide or receive weekly clinical supervision
- Works with primary care team to trat and manage patients with chronic emotional and /or health problems effectively and efficiently.
- Review and maintain audit ready standards and peer audit.
- Serves as liaisons between students, homes, schools, family services, child guidance clinics, courts, protective services, doctors, and other contacts to help children who face problems, such as disabilities, abuse, or poverty
- Maintains case history records and prepares reports
- Counsel’s parents with child rearing problems
- Assesses for and assist in preventing relapse or morbidity in conditions that tend to recur over time
- Improve clinical outcome with high prevalence mental disorders

Qualifications:·
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited university or College
- Valid licensure or associate level license, in respective field· Carries out and follows all SCFHC procedures
- Current California Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance
- Current BLS Certification required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual and Bi-literate Spanish/English preferred
