POSITION: Behavior Intervention Assistant
TIME / STATUS: Full Time, 9am-3pm, no weekends or holidays.
LOCATION: Vacaville
COMPENSATION: $25-$30/hour.

EXPERIENCE: No adult day program experience required, will train!
OVERVIEW:
Our primary mission at Kreative Community Services (KCS) is to offer adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) person-centered services and supports aiming to achieve the best quality of life possible. Our program is dedicated to enriching the lives of each individual through programming designed to realize their potential while recognizing their unique needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree, preferably in ABA.
- Pursuing BACB certification (e.g., BCBA, BCaBA).
- Possesses a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Criminal record (background check) clearance required.
- Medical clearance and negative TB test required.
- Authorization to work in the US required.
- Fluent in English.
- Comfortable utilizing various technology and software.
- Commitment to regular and timely attendance.
- Willing to transport participants in personal vehicle (mileage paid).
JOB DUTIES:
Service Provision
- Provide behavioral support to employee's working with adults with disabilities.
- Monitor individual progress on Behavior Support Plans (BSP).
- Provide necessary assistance to employees/participants to ensure proper programming and safety.
- Uses knowledge and experience in implementation of Positive Behavior Supports to safely de-escalate participants as needed.
Training/Certifications
- Maintain required training/documentation (RBT, CPR, NCI, etc.).
- Attend weekly supervision and program team meetings.
Program Coordination
- Oversee data collection for participant plans.
- Submit progress reports as required.
- Complete and submit required oversight of employees/participants.
- Follow KCS policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing assistance to Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure oversight and completion of required tasks (e.g., documentation).
