Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health Provider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, coupled with extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), serious mental illness, and substance use disorders. This position demands a compassionate professional committed to providing the highest quality care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored behavior intervention plans to address specific needs of individuals.
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Offer crisis intervention services as needed.
- Design and deliver training and technical assistance to individuals and their support teams to enhance understanding and management of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and advocate for the needs of clients.
- Regularly evaluate and update individual treatment plans to ensure they meet the changing needs of clients.
- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Master’s level education or higher in Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, experiencing TBI, serious mental illness, or direct clinical and residential experience with substance use disorders.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans.
- Strong experience in providing training or technical assistance to individuals and their support teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current, valid state licensure as a mental health professional (if required).
- Must pass a background check and provide professional references.
