Responsibilities
The Senior Application Support Specialist will work closely with clients, partners and BCT colleagues, studying current systems and practices, gathering and analyzing data, eliciting requirements, providing analyses, designing solutions, and supporting delivery. This role will support the development and execution of test cases, defect management and test reporting for the national SCSEP project’s Content Management System (CMS) and other systems, supporting all phases of the testing life cycle. The Senior Application Support Specialistalso functions as a Subject Matter Expert, providing Technical Assistance to all users in the system, and checking to ensure that timely accurate information is being provided to all.
Skills / Who You Are
You will possess a demonstrated knowledge of Federal program requirements and management processes along with experience with data collection and analysis, strong technical and testing knowledge to help provide systems support and assistance to end users by documenting, tracking, and resolving all manner of technical issues and knowledge of business processes and requirements.

BCT offers a competitive total compensation package that, for this position, includes base pay with a target annual salary range of $95,000 to $105,000, along with a generous benefits package. This is a remote position, located in any of the fifty United States or Washington, DC. BCT Partners works primarily on Eastern Time, though we do have staff in all four time zones. You bring to the table:
- 4 to 7 years relevant professional experience in a technical, statistical, or data-centric role; software testing and data analysis experience desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, with a preference for a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of database applications and/or relational databases such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle; advanced knowledge of database records, database tables and database fields.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze data, generate summaries and create presentations from report summaries and other resources.
- Proficient trouble shooting skills for resolving user inquiries.
- Strong organizational, administrative and project coordination skills, a demonstrated attention to details and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively when speaking and in writing, and to produce high quality written products such as memoranda, presentations and correspondence.
- Proven analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
