The Battery Manufacturing Engineering team is opening new highways with our next-generation propulsion systems. We're investing over $50 billion to build some of the most technologically advanced EV manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and E.U. to produce the next generation of Ford electric vehicles. State-of-the-art technologies and processes for Battery Cells, arrays, and packs are core to our competitive strategy and will provide endless opportunities to innovate and grow -- all while helping the environment.

You will be engineering some of the largest and most technologically advanced battery manufacturing plants in North America. An opportunity to innovate and experience the rapid and while helping the environment.
You have the chance to be part of our team to open new highways with our next generations propulsion systems. Utilizing an entrepreneurial spirit in developing manufacturing systems and to be part of our team delivering on Ford's goal of capacitizing for 2,000,000 EVs by 2026.
What you'll do...
- Partner with Product Development, Quality, Equipment Vender, Operation on daily basis, oversee selected battery manufacturing processes including measurement systems, from Design through Validation phase.
- Launch new production processes, in achieving Quality, Productivity, Timing and Cost goals setup by the company.
- Ensure successful Process delivery at the start of production.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization on Battery manufacturing processes, sophisticated in utilizing 6Sigma, Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools.
- Experienced with PFMEA conduct and implementation.
- Provide training and coaching to process user and operator.
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in large scale manufacturing.
- Understanding/experience of manufacturing equipment and processes (Battery preferred), with operation and business acumen.
- Experience in implementing or managing large scale projects as a Manufacturing Engineer on new specialized manufacturing lines.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel with short notice.

- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of working experience in Battery industry, OEM, Equipment venders.
