Flores Tapas Restaurant & Bar is looking to hire a part-time and full-time hospitality professional trained in bartending and serving. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the restaurant and hospitality industry and about creating excellent experiences for our guests through skilled table service and bartending. We are a full service Spanish Tapas restaurant and bar with a 16 seat full bar and a 50 seat dining room. We pride ourselves on creating an experience for our guests that transports them to Spain through our well curated craft cocktail and wine menu and delicious tapas menu. Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers in the dining room and at the bar, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager on keeping track of inventory for bar and dining room.
- Shift work- folding napkins, polishing silverware and glassware, resetting tables
- Maintaining a clean bar and dining room.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resumé and proven working experience as a bartender and server.
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Excellent hospitality knowledge and experience
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar and dining room organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
