Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Clean and sanitize bar area, including utensils and equipment
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and restock as needed
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Skills:
- Proficient in basic math for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Experience in banquet bartending, including preparing large quantities of drinks for events
- Strong bartending skills, including knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Sales skills to upsell customers on premium drinks or specials
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
