Bartender/Server

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Clean and sanitize bar area, including utensils and equipment
- Maintain a well-stocked bar with supplies and ingredients
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Upsell drink and food items to increase revenue
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Skills:
- Knowledge of different types of beer and beer-serving techniques
- Math: Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Food Safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to ensure safe handling of food and beverages
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- POS (Point of Sale) Systems: Experience using POS systems to process orders, handle payments, and generate receipts
- Basic Math: Proficiency in basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Help: Willingness to assist customers with their inquiries, provide recommendations, and address any concerns they may have
- Toast POS: Familiarity with the Toast POS system for order processing and payment handling. We can also teach you.
- Catering: Knowledge of catering services and ability to handle large-scale events or parties
- Hospitality: Strong interpersonal skills, friendly demeanor, and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Pay: From $11.80 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
