Bartender
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disturbances
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of bar supplies
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of retail math, basic math, and cash handling skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and drink recipes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
