We are seeking an experienced Bartender/Server to join our team. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with retail math for calculating drink prices and making change
- Strong sales skills to promote specials and upsell menu items
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for accurately preparing drinks according to recipes
