Scheduled Shift: Tuesday thru Thursday 4:30PM-9:30PM
Friday and Saturday 4:30PM-10:30PM
As a bartender, you’ll be crafting delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide memorable experiences. You will be successful if you're welcoming and personable and always seeking ways to exceed patrons' needs and expectations. As a bartender you'll have a responsibility to our patrons and their safety and must have proper certification and a thorough understanding of current laws.
You have a minimum of 2 years of recent bartending experience and are the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. You have basic math skills, are capable of handling money, and operating a point-of-sale system. You have excellent English communication skills. You must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and are able to lift up to 25 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Greet guests and know regulars by name, preference and needs
- Have strong knowledge of brands of beer, wine and liquor, as well as the ingredients for the most common cocktails (garnishes & proper glassware)
- Have the ability to inform guests about specialty drinks
- Be knowledgeable and answer questions about the food menu
- Make food menu recommendations
- Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Deliver drink & food orders to each guest in a timely, and efficient manner
- Check valid forms of identification of customers to verify requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
- Take food orders and enter them into the POS system
- Stay guest focused to limit liability and issues related to patrons level of drinking
- Run food
- Bus tables - Wash dishes
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Clean bar, work areas and tables
