Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Skills:
- Strong math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to cater to different customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Willingness to help out in other areas of the establishment as needed
- Excellent hospitality skills, including friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Sales skills to promote specials, upsell, and increase revenue
- Familiarity with the food industry and current trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
