Bartender/Server

We are seeking a skilled and outgoing Bartender/Server to join our SugarJam team!

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of cocktails and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink/food orders and making recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in working order
- Restock and prep supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of our customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Utilize POS system to process orders

-This position may be for a server, bartender, or a flex which will be both when needed

Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of techniques, cocktail recipes, and drink presentation

-Background in Fast Modern Casual preferred
- Proficient in food handling and safety procedures
- Great cash handling skills
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills to ensure timely service
- Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Title 4 and Food Handlers Certification a must

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.85 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
