PURPOSE
Be the “life” of our (responsible) party. Bartenders help our guests escape, and relax in a welcoming environment. Working as a team, you will exceed the expectations of our guests through drink and food knowledge, creating signature libations, and they keep the party going with good vibes and a positive attitude.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Epic Hospitality: 80%
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Adhere to established recipes and quality standards.
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Adhere to local laws and regulations regarding the responsible service of alcohol, checking identification to verify age, and refusing service to intoxicated guests when necessary.
- Utilize product knowledge to upsell premium or seasonal beverages and promote special offers.
- Possess strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktail mixing techniques, and garnishing.
- Accurately process payments, handle cash transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience.
Bar Operations: 15%
- Complete all necessary prep work for bar operations.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized, including glassware, utensils, and workstations, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Complete any assigned side work as needed.
- Monitor stock levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies, restocking as needed.
Food & Beverage Knowledge, Continued Training: 5%
- Stay current with pertinent information related to the Service team - 7shifts Announcements, Brand Key Focus Area, New policies regarding operations.
- Continued training and development with new menus, promotions, protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Participation with 1Huddle application for continued training and development.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages,and cocktail mixing techniques.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- The ability to stand/walk constantly for hours at a time during a shift
- Ability to hear, taste and smell
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry.
